  • COST: 6 HOUR: $35 - Individuals And
    $45 - team of 3 (i.e. $15 each)
    12 HOUR: $50 - Individuals

Launceston 6 & 12 Hour Track Race

The 2011 Launceston 6 and 12 hour track races were held on Sunday 16 January 2011, starting at 5.30 a.m.

Venue was the Northern Athletic Track, off St. Leonards Rd (opposite 239 St. Leonards Rd), Launceston, Tasmania.

Results were: 1st male runner, Mick Francis 125.68k.     1st Female runner, Sharon Scholz 114.802k.    1st male walker, Steve Jordan 79.385k.    1st female walker, Michelle Thompson 96.417k

There were only 4 individuals in total.

There was also a team “Juswannafinish” in the 6 hour (Paul Wright, Michelle Frost and Dave Brelsford). Paul did 24.420k, Michelle 17.908k, and Dave 17.501k for the team to total 59.829k
